The Owen Sound Attack are off on a 3 game road swing this weekend.
I'd describe this road trip like visiting Formosa, Ontario; big hills at both ends of the village and major drop in the middle.
Tonight, the Attack launch the roadie in Windsor against the # 1 team in North America, the defending Memorial Cup Champion Spitfires.
Oh did I mention, the Owen Sound lineup will be minus Halmo and quite likely both Wilsons and........well the numbers are depleted, no question.
However, even with a full lineup, the Spitfires are a handful.
Tomorrow night, the Attack go down the hill to face the Sarnia Sting, losers of 13 in a row and long ago scouting out the # 1 selection in the 2010 Priority Selection.
Can a depleted Owen Sound team defeat the struggling Sting ?
And then back up the hill go the Attack on Saturday to face the emerging darkhorse of the West, the Plymouth Whalers in Michigan.
Three games in 3 nights will be challenge enough, but subtract key players from your lineup and mix in two of the best units in the West, and the task becomes that much more taxing for the Owen Sound Attack
