It's Thanksgiving Weekend. Here in Canada.
Here in Owen Sound, we hope you'll stop at our Thrifty Truck parked in the Bayshore Broadcasting Parking Lot and support the Salvation Army Owen Sound Bank.
Through the years at this time of the year, people have come from near and far to the Bayshore Parking Lot and given what they can.
And it's great.
A bag of food, a case of canned items, a non-perishable food item, every bit helps, every bit is greatly appreciated.
We all recognize that times are tough, but are these the toughest times ?
I don't think so, therefore, if you can spare the time and come see us, or drop off your items after shopping at your local grocery store, it's gratefully accepted.
Sportswise, it's mostly a hockey weekend, although OSCVI and West Hill have their big football game today.
From a hockey standpoint, the Attack will be busy, travelling to Kitchener tonight then hosting the Sault tomorrow and Barrie on Monday afternoon.
I'm rooting for the Attack, in spite of the fact their first half dozen games have carried little optimism.
A win tonight, a couple of wins this weekend, would make their fans truly thankful.
