About Kevin:

Kevin kicked off his broadcast career in 1980 in Kitchener, Ontario working as an Operator for CKCO-TV before joining CKNX-Television as a TV Writer/Producer.

He then graduated on to Television Ad sales serving the Grey-Bruce Region for the CBC affiliate.

When Blackburn made the decision to sell their television assets, Kevin stayed with Blackburn by moving over to their Radio division as General Sales Manager in Wingham.

He joined Bayshore Broadcasting with the promise of helping to expand our footprint throughout Ontario’s playground markets. He worked closely with Ross Kentner and his Team to win 6 new FM originating Licenses into the Bayshore Company, launch and grow those Stations, and then add Tobermory 91.9 in 2022.

About Ian:

Born and raised in Owen Sound, Ian has spent his entire broadcasting career with Bayshore Broadcasting, starting out as the Community Cruiser Reporter for 560 CFOS during summer break from his time at the University of Western Ontario, where he took the Media, Information, and Technoculture program with a minor in Computer Science.

After graduating, he returned to Bayshore and continued in the cruiser role, eventually adding responsibility for the company’s websites, voicetracking, board operation, and other duties.

He moved to Orillia in 2010 for the launch what was then Bayshore’s Sunshine 89.1 (now 89.1 Max FM), then moving to Goderich in 2012 to take over as Operations Manager for the former 104.9 the Beach and 98 the Beach in Port Elgin (now Country 104.9 and 97.9 the Bruce respectively).

In 2014, Ian took an opportunity to return to Bayshore’s head office in Owen Sound as the company’s Group Operations Director (now Director of Operations), with broad responsibility for the on-air sound, talent development, promotions and marketing, and technical synergy for all of Bayshore’s stations. In his 10+ years in this role, he has been involved in the launch of Bayshore’s 3 newest radio signals, the rebranding and re-formatting of 5 stations, the launch of Bayshore’s current website platform, and a number of successful and memorable promotions, programs, and community events.

He continues to live in Owen Sound with his wife Amy, and their two boys Liam and Andrew.
