A number of people have been charged in connection to a break in at a park in Port Elgin.
Saugeen Shores police say at about 6 in the evening on Thursday, March 13th, police were alerted to what appeared to be two youth breaking into a town outbuilding in the park.
Officers arrived and located a damaged door.
They say four people were located inside and arrested, but they aren’t youths. All are local and range in age from 33 to 53.
Police didn’t say which park.
A 42-year-old male of Port Elgin was charged with:
– Break and enter
– Mischief
– Possession of break in instruments
– Fail to comply with release order
He was held in custody pending a Bail Hearing
A 36-year-old female of Port Elgin was charged with:
– Break and enter
– Mischief
– Possession of break in instruments
She was also arrested in an outstanding warrant. She was held in custody pending a Bail Hearing.
A 33-year-old male of Port Elgin was charged with:
– Break and enter
– Mischief
– Possession of break in instruments
He was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
A 53-year-old male of Port Elgin was charged with:
– Break and enter
– Mischief
– Possession of break in instruments
– Failure to comply with probation
He was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
