Huron County will be going crazy for maple syrup this month.
Between March 21st and 23rd, numerous business in Huron County will be hosting maple-themed events for “Maple Mania.”
On March 22, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., maple and nature lovers can visit local area sugar bushes for free family-friendly activities.
Sugar shacks will be open to the public at the following locations:
- Bayfield Maple – maple taffy making and interactive children’s programming
- Blyth Creek Maple Farm – FREE maple milkshakes for all visitors and tours
- Coastal Coffee – Live music and maple syrup making
- Freedom Syrup – FREE sweet treats for all guests and maple syrup making
- Robinson’s Maple Products – Free cookie decorating and maple syrup making
Between March 21st and 23rd, eleven area Huron County restaurants will offer maple-inspired culinary experiences by providing unique dishes featuring spring’s natural sweetener. Participating restaurants include:
- 1851 Bayfield Landing, Bayfield
- Benmiller Inn & Spa, Benmiller
- Blyth Inn, Blyth
- The Boot, Seaforth
- Cowbell Brewing Co., Blyth
- Eddington’s of Exeter
- Olio Too, Bayfield
- Part II Bistro, Goderich
- River Run Restaurant, Goderich
- West Street Willy’s Eatery, Goderich
- The White Squirrel Golf Club & Restaurant, St. Joseph
Local cafés and bakeries will also offer sweet treats featuring locally sourced maple syrup. Participating locations across Huron County include:

- Hive of Bayfield
- Sweets N’ Treats in Blyth and Wingham
- The Pink Flamingo Bakery & Boutique, Bayfield
- The Den Juice Co., Goderich

On March 23, maple lovers will enjoy a pancake brunch hosted by Bad Apple Brewing Company in partnership with Bayfield Maple, Farm Little, Bayfield, and CedarVilla Farms.
