Another blast of snow is expected in Bruce and Grey counties today.
Environment Canada has issued snow squall warnings across the region, saying 15 to 25 centimetres could hit the ground throughout the day. Blowing snow is possible as well.
“Bursts of heavy flurries along a cold front this morning will give way to snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Northwesterly winds gusting to 70 km/h will result in significantly reduced visibility due to snow and blowing snow, especially over exposed areas,” Environment Canada says in its warning. “Lake effect snow will taper in intensity through tonight. Winds will also weaken this evening.”
