Peavey Mart locations in Owen Sound and Walkerton are not among those the company is planning to close.
Peavey Industries announced plans yesterday to close 22 Peavey Mart locations in Ontario and Nova Scotia, including stores in Mount Forest, Collingwood and Goderich.
A company spokesperson confirms the Owen Sound and Walkerton Peavey Mart locations will continue operating.
Peavey Mart is a hardware and agricultural products store.
The company says the decision to close 22 locations is part of an organizational restructuring to “address current challenges, strengthen its operations and position itself for future sustainability.”
