Many School Closures In Grey Bruce After Snowfall

Many people across Bruce and Grey counties are waking up to a big dump of snow on the ground.

And forecasters are calling for more snow today. Snow squall warnings continue across Bruce and Grey counties, another 10-15 centimetres is expected today.

As of 10 a.m., Highway 21 remains closed between Southampton and Kincardine. And Bruce Road 23 is closed between Bruce Roads 15 and 20.

All school buses in Bruce and Grey counties are cancelled, except for buses into Teeswater and Lucknow.

And more than 20 schools are closed, including all public and catholic schools in Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Arran-Elderslie, Chatsworth and the Bruce Peninsula.

All Catholic schools in Owen Sound are closed as well (St Basil, Notre Dame, St. Mary’s High School and Ecole Saint Dominique Savio School).
