It’s a warning to snowmobilers: the rules of the road still apply to you.
Huron OPP say they stopped a snowmobile in Blyth, and determined the driver had consumed alcohol before operating the machine.
The driver was taken to a nearby detachment, where officers say they tested over the legal blood-alcohol limit.
A 21 year old man from North Huron has been charged with:
- Operation while Impaired – Over 80
The involved snowmobile was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.
