Goderich council has approved an equipment donation to Goderich District Collegiate Institute.
Council approved the donation of 8 spin exercise bikes to the school through the YMCA.
Goderich District Collegiate Institute’s Principal Lucy Langis approached council, saying that the donation was requested because physical fitness plays a crucial role in the overall well-being of students.
The school’s current bikes were outdated and there was a hope to replace them, but the current budget didn’t allow it.
