Hanover Police say two people are facing charges after responding to calls for service on Christmas Eve.
Police Chief Christopher Knoll posted on X Tuesday at 10:36 p.m., officers on the night shift arrested a 41-year-old women from Niagara Falls for uttering threats and breaching probation.
Knoll says the women was running through the halls of a motel, banging on doors and threatening to shoot people.
While she was being arrested, Knoll says officers responded to a disturbance which resulted in a 28-year-old Chatsworth man fleeing on foot from a vehicle.
Officers found the man hiding behind a shed in a backyard after searching the area.
Knoll says the man was arrested for impaired driving and had registered at over twice the legal limit.
“Protecting communities is a responsibility that never stops regardless of the day of the week or the time of the year. Thank you to the police members across Ontario and beyond who are working this Christmas season to ensure our safety,” says Knoll.
