South Bruce OPP say two people from Barrie are facing charges following a collision in Brockton.
Police say on Dec. 23 around 8:55 p.m., officers responded to a collision on Bruce Road 4, where they found a single vehicle in the ditch.
An investigation revealed the two people in the vehicle were in contravention of release conditions and were taken into custody without issue.
Police say they seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, a conducted energy weapon, and ammunition.
As a result, a 36-year-old from Barrie was charged with four counts of possession of a firearm and ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, failing to comply with an undertaking, carrying a concealed prohibited device or ammunition, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a substance, careless driving, and driving while under suspension.
They were held for a bail hearing on Dec. 24 and were remanded into custody.
The other accused from Barrie, a 27-year-old, was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.
They are set to appear in court in Walkerton next month.
