No one was injured in a house fire in Owen Sound yesterday afternoon.
Owen Sound Fire and emergency services responded to a call of smoke coming from a 4th Avenue East triplex in the 1300 block at 12:30 p.m.
When crews arrived on the scene, they found a working fire on the first floor, extending to the second floor.
The 18 Owen Sound firefighters on the scene were able to contain the fire and preserve the structure.
The damage to the structure is estimated at $500,000.
Eagleson says the cause of the fire is suspicious in nature and Owen Sound Police and Fire Department are currently investigating.
