Owen Sound Police say that they’re anticipating criminal charges to be laid against a driver involved in a collision on Friday night.
At around 11:40 pm emergency personnel were called to a crash at 2nd Avenue and 6th Street East.
The collision happened when a southbound white SUV was attempting to make a left turn onto 6th Street, into the path of a northbound vehicle. The crash resulted in significant front-end damage to the second vehicle, and the white SUV then fled the scene.
Police are thanking the public for help in finding the vehicle in question.
