This week marked the end of Glen McNeil’s term as warden for the county.
At the start of Wednesday’s county council meeting McNeil took time to thank council and staff for their hard work during his time as chair.
Following the municipal election in 2022, McNeil was chosen unanimously as Huron County’s warden, giving him another term in the role.
He also served on the Western Ontario Wardens Caucus during his time, ensuring cooperation between neighbouring counties and the provincial government.
A new warden will be chosen at the inaugural meeting of council on November 27th at 1 pm.
