Following excitement for its inaugural season, the Huron Perth Flag Football league is expected to grow.
The first season of the area’s flag football league is underway for players 6 to 16 years of age, and organizer David Levinson says the community was ready for it.
“We wound up getting 91 or 92 kids for the first season, which is great,” Levinson tells Country 104.9 News.
“After registration, we had so many families say ‘I didn’t know you guys were starting this league,’ and lots of enthusiasm about the Spring and Fall.”
Levinson says registration is now open for the Spring season, which begins April 26th, 2025, with games played at the Exeter Community Soccer Fields.
