Southern Georgian Bay OPP say they arrested someone in connection with separate break & enter and theft of vehicle incidents in Midland.
Police responded to a report of the theft of a black Ford Fusion the evening of September 27th, after the vehicle was taken form a restaurant parking lot.
The vehicle was found in front of a home on Ottawa Street. Police were able to identify the suspect through video surveillance.
Officers found the suspect at an address on Seventh Street, and found they were in possession of stolen property from the vehicle in question.
A few hours later, just after midnight on September 28th, police were called back to Seventh Street, where the same person was found trying to break into parked vehicles in the area.
The 36-year-old man from Christian Island is being held in custody pending a bail hearing, and is expected in court at a later date.
