South Bruce OPP have made an arrest after a driver crashed into a house in Kincardine.
OPP say at about 6:45 Wednesday evening, an officer was on patrol along Bruce Road 23 and tried to stop a vehicle, but the driver fled from police at a high speed.
The officer did not pursue the vehicle due to public safety concerns.
OPP say a few moments later, the vehicle crashed into a house in the area of Kingsway Street.
They say the driver got out and fled on foot.
He was captured by police shortly thereafter.
18 year old Kincardine man is charged with fleeing police, dangerous driving, speeding, failing to remain and driving without insurance.
