A massive upgrade is coming to a high school track field in Clinton.
The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board (HPCDSB) announced work has begun to replace the track and enhance the infield playing surface at St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School.
The upgrade will cost the board $1.3 million.
The project will replace the existing track with new asphalt including a rubberized surface coating.
Drainage issues for the soccer/rugby/field hockey pitch will be addressed at the same time.
The HPCDSB says a new field house will be constructed to properly store the equipment.
