The province’s top hockey trophy will be making its way to Canada’s Prettiest Town.
Goderich Mayor Trevor Bazinet announced the Ontario Hockey League’s J. Ross Robertson trophy will be coming to the town Saturday, August 3rd.
While no Goderich players were on the ice for the 2024 championship winning London Knights, a member of the organization has a local affiliation.
Local Paulie O’Byrne is the Mental Health Strategist for the London Knights, and will bring the OHL’s top trophy to Goderich to celebrate.
The celebration will happen at Goderich’s Bannister Park on August 3rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., during the annual Don Johnston Memorial Slo-Pitch tournament.
