Nottawasaga OPP says that a 39-year-old man from Barrie is facing several charges after police executed a warrant related to intimate partner violence.
On May 2, the Crime Reduction Unit, along with Barrie Police, executed a warrant at a residence in Barrie.
– Assault causing bodily harm – two counts
– Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
– Harassing Communications
– Uttering threats – two counts
– Extorsion
– Intimidation – use or threatens use of violence
– Fail to comply with prohibition order
– Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
