Caledon OPP has charged one driver for refusing to comply during a traffic stop.
Police were called to Highway 10 near Charleston Side Road on the evening of April 19th, to respond to complaints from a concerned motorist about another driver’s behaviour.
A 38-year-old from Brampton is charged with refusal to comply with a demand involving a breath sample.
They’re expected to appear before an Orangeville court on May 23rd. Their licence was also suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
Caledon OPP reminds motorists that failure or refusal to comply with a demand in an impaired operation investigation is a criminal offence.
