The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is bringing history to life with a special event on Family Day.
On Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the museum says it will host the award-winning theatre company Live History for live shows.
“Guests will journey back through time as they travel through the museum’s exhibits, reaching five different checkpoints along the way. Each checkpoint will have its own local historical character in costume who will present guests with a variety of different puzzles and quests to solve,” says the museum.
Each show takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete and is suitable for school-age children to adults.
Additionally, the museum will also have drop-in improv classes led by professional acting coaches Leo Dragonieri and Julia Scarngi.
A barbecue lunch will be offered by the Southampton Rotary Club on site at 11 a.m.
