Bruce County will consider approving the draft plan of a proposed 88-unit subdivision in Tiverton this week.
The new subdivision from Fast Holding Ltd., is proposed to be developed on a parcel of agriculture land off Maple Street.
The proposed subdivision includes 26 single detached units, 22 semi-detached units, 40 townhouse units, two blocks for future development, and an internal road network.
A report from Director of Planning and Development Jack Van Dorp says, “opportunities also exist on the site for the creation of additional residential units, which are permitted on single detached, semi-detached and townhouse dwelling lots where full municipal services are provided,”
The new internal road network is also proposed with three access points to Maple Street.
“The development is proposed as an extension of the existing residential neighbourhood. It includes new lots along the west and south sides of Maple Street,” says the report.
County council will consider approving the draft plan during its meeting on Dec. 14 at 9:30 a.m.
