The Bruce County Public Library is taking part in two community-based programs this holiday season.
This week, the Library started its Tree of Warmth Campaign, where it will collect new, unwrapped, warm articles and clothing for kids aged 0-18 until December 1st at all 17 branches.
They’re also running their popular Food For Fines campaign, where late fees can be forgiven with non-perishable food donations.
Food For Fines will run from November 27th until December 8th.
For each non-perishable item donated, $5 will be applied to overdue fines, up to $25.
This year, they also get to add the Bookmobile to the list of branches collecting donations as well.
