Orillia OPP are searching for a local man who had gone fishing but then didn’t return at the scheduled time.
In their search, police found an abandoned boat in the Bass Lake area.
The OPP Marine Unit, with the help of Aviation Services, and Underwater Search and Recovery are searching the area for the missing person.
Property owners in the area are also encouraged to check their property water line.
