Hanover Police say a man has been arrested following a violent domestic assault.
Hanover Police Chief Christopher Knoll posted on social media Jan. 13 at 7:52 p.m., saying officers arrested a 33-year-old man and have laid numerous charges.
Police say the accused has been charged with assault by choking, assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, possession of a prohibited weapon, breach of a weapon prohibition order, and breach of probation.
Police add the accused was remanded into custody at his bail hearing.
Police say the accused also faces additional charges for attempted theft of a pick-up truck from a local dealership reported to police in fall of 2022.
