A “decoy” member of the Huron County OPP has been recovered.
Police say Constable Wes Coast — a cut-out of an officer holding a speed radar device — was stolen from Hensall following the Labour Day weekend.
An update from officers say the decoy was found in a ditch along Ausable Line, in South Huron.
According to reports, “Wes Coast” was returned safely to the Huron OPP detachment where he will soon be redeployed.
