Simcoe County is working on an updated tourism strategy.
The County is partnering with its member municipalities, residents, tourism operators, and stakeholders to create a destination development action plan.
A news release says the plan will steer the County of Simcoe’s tourism role and responsibilities for the next three to five years.
The project involves research and engagement activities which will be carried out by Bannikin, a strategy and development company.
The aim is to come up with a strong understanding of tourism in the county, and to set the direction for Tourism Simcoe County’s future work.
