Hi, this is Fred Wallace with ” Off the Wire “,….. proudly sponsored by Pete’s Auto Body.

The weekend in Las Vegas is always eventful but tomorrow the NHL All Star Game will be staged followed Sunday by the NFL Pro Bowl.
I’ve mentioned many times, I love Las Vegas, the NHL & the NFL, but I won’t be paying much attention to any of those activities this weekend.
There’s too many other notable activities on the go.
The Olympic Games are underway in China.
The Scotties Tournament of Hearts climaxes in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The Raptors try to make up ground in the NBA Eastern Conference when they play again tonight hosting Atlanta.
The Attack play 3 times in 2 & 1/2 days in the OHL visiting Guelph tonight, hosting the Storm tomorrow night and then facing London on Sunday afternoon.
After tonight’s game at Guelph, the Attack will have just a dozen road games remaining compared to 19 home games, so if they can turn home ice into a winning haven, there’s potential to move up in the standings.
Went to Meaford last night to see the Knights. The Knights are at home again Sunday afternoon against New Tecumseth.
And the WOAA Senior Hockey Playoffs commence tonight:
In ” AA “, the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks host Tavistock at The Plex while Shelburne opens at Ripley.
Enjoy the NHL All Star game and the NFL Pro Bowl, I’ll be actively watching other pursuits this weekend.
