Nearly two dozen charges have been laid, after a traffic chase led police from Perth County in Huron.
OPP say a sedan was stolen from a property in Listowel on January 24th and spotted along Airport Line in Huron County.
According to reports, the driver took off from police when they attempted to stop the vehicle, and the suspect ditched the sedan on Tipperary Line before stealing a pickup truck from a nearby business.
Police say the driver then collided with another pickup, before fleeing the scene and breaking into a nearby residence, where he stole keys to an SUV from the victim’s purse and fled in his third stolen vehicle of the day.
OPP say the driver crashed that vehicle into a stone fence, before fleeing into a bush lot on foot, and ultimately being found in a travel trailer on Parr Line.
