The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 13 new Covid cases and 17 recoveries in the region on Monday.
According to Public Health, four people from Owen Sound, three from Southgate, and residents of Georgian Bluffs, Meaford, The Blue Mountains, Grey Highlands and Chatsworth tested positive.
The active known case load in the region fell slightly to 160, as recoveries outpaced new infections. The health unit also disclosed two false positives.
Four people are currently hospitalized locally, and the health unit says two Grey Bruce residents are receiving care outside of the region as well.
There are 661 active high-risk close contacts identified by Public Health.
On vaccination progress in Grey Bruce: 47,352 doses have been administered to date.
Over the course of the pandemic, five Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus.
The Health Unit says there are active outbreaks associated with Notre Dame Catholic School and Queen of Hearts Nursery School. There is also a suspect outbreak associated with Hanover Heights Community School.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Monday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
