A Wasaga Beach small business owner is reaching out to help other entrepreneurs during the pandemic.
Jess Scott of Beach Baby says she understood that like her, many other artisans were loosing out on markets and events that were cancelled because of Covid-19.
Scott says, for many, this circuit is how they make their money, so she figured since she has room in her cabin store on Mosley Street, why not offer other artisans space to sell their wares.
The Wasaga Beach shop now has products from over a hundred Canadian artisans.
Jess Scott says the Christmas shopping season is well underway for local business owners.
She says the season actually started in August this year with people worried about another shutdown and already worrying about shipping delays because of the pandemic.
Scott encourages everyone to shop local because when you buy something you are feeding someone’s family or sending a child to hockey, in your own neighbourhood.
