Huron East is prepared to unveil a promotion music video months in the making.
The municipality will be holding a virtual red carpet Thursday night to premiere the video for “Looking Out My Back Door,” a tourist parody of the classic Creedence Clearwater Revival hit.
Economic Development Officer Jan Hawley says the video was done as a promotion for Seaforth’s Main Street, which has been under heavy construction for several months.
Main Street is expected to reopen in the next week.
Hawley tells Country 104.9 News the music video was a collaboration with Rediscovering Canada TV, a streaming platform for several Canadian programs.
Several local politicians will be present at Thursday night’s virtual screening, including Huron East Mayor Bernie MacLellan, Huron-Bruce’s MP and MPP Ben Lobb and Lisa Thompson, and Huron County Warden Jim Ginn.
Anyone looking to take part in the 7:00 p.m. event can contact Hawley at jhawley@huroneast.com.
