South Bruce OPP say a Kincardine man is facing drug charges.
On April 8 around 6:07 p.m., police say an officer stopped a vehicle along Highway 21 in Kincardine.
After speaking with the driver, the officer detected signs of impairment and placed the driver under arrest.
A search resulted in the discovery of about 40 grams of suspected cocaine and the driver was transported for further testing.
Later on April 9, police say officers executed a search warrant at an address in Kincardine, where police seized suspected illicit drugs and prohibited weapons.
As a result, the 45-year-old accused has been charged with driving while impaired, possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a substance, possession of a prohibited device, failing to comply with an undertaking, and careless driving.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody.
