South Bruce OPP have charged a Kincardine resident following an incident on Sunday morning.
Just after 8am, police received a call about a suspicious person acting aggressively toward a homeowner along Highway 9.
When officers arrived at the home, the person in question then brandished an edged weapon towards police.
The 30-year-old man from the Municipality of Kincardine was then taken into custody.
He’s charged with assaulting an officer with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and four counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody.
