A Gravenhurst resident is facing charges after a traffic stop in the town early yesterday morning.
The 29-year-old was charged with dangerous operation flight from a peace officer, several Highway Traffic Act offenses and after Bracebridge OPP received a call about the concerning behaviour of a motorist.
Police were called after witnesses saw a vehicle travelling southbound on Bethune Drive.
When officers stopped the vehicle, the driver failed to follow instructions, and minor damage was caused to a police cruiser.
The driver is expected in a Bracebridge courtroom on May 20th to answer to the charges.
