Health officials are warning of more public measles exposures in the Huron-Perth health region.
Huron Perth Public Health says someone with measles was exposed to the community at the Listowel KFC on Friday, March 28th, between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.
“Anyone who was at this location during these timeframes needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure,” HPPH says.
The incident occurred days after health officials reported measles exposure at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 23rd and Monday, March 24th, and the Wingham & District Hospital on Friday March 28th, Saturday March 29th, and Sunday, March 30th.
“HPPH completes case management and contact tracing for confirmed cases of measles. If during a contact tracing investigation we cannot reach everyone who was exposed, we notify the public of a possible community exposure,” HPPH says.
