Southern Georgian Bay OPP are investigating after they received a report of a deceased person at a home in Tay Township on March 31st.
Police, along with Tay Township Fire Service and Simcoe County Paramedics attended the scene at the residence on Reeves Road, but the lone occupant, a 68-year-old woman, was confirmed dead when paramedics arrived.
The area coroner was also called to the scene.
Police do not suspect any signs of foul play, and the investigation is being handled by the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service as well as the Chief Coroner’s office.
