Bracebridge OPP is looking for information after two people fled from a RIDE program on Tuesday night in Bracebridge.
Around 11pm police were conducting a RIDE program on Ecclestone Drive.
A black Cadillac Escalade came through the RIDE with three occupants, but instead of stopping sped off toward the downtown. The vehicle was located with one occupant still inside – the other two fled. Discovered in the vehicle were several firearms, and ammunition.
So far a 23 year old woman from Winnipeg has been arrested and charged with several firearms offences and obstructing police.
The missing driver is a 36 year old who is also from Winnipeg and wanted for other crimes. The second missing person has not been ID’d but is described as black, male, and wearing dark clothing.
It is believed they fled toward the area of Wellington Street/Balls Drive in Bracebridge and police are asking anyone with home surveillance systems to check their cameras for possible footage between 11:10 p.m. and today’s very early morning hours.
*PICTURED IS THE DRIVER*
