Game 1 goes to London.
Sam Dickinson had two goals in the first period and finished with three points, as the London Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead en route to a 6-1 win over the Owen Sound Attack in Game 1 of the Ontario Hockey League Western Conference quarterfinal series.
London leads the best-of-seven 1-0.
Sam O’Reilly, Denver Barkey, Landon Sim and Kasper Halttunen also scored for London, which led 4-1 after two periods before getting two more early in the third.
Alec Leonard had the lone goal for the Attack.
Austin Elliott made 24 saves in the win, while Carter George stopped 36 taking the loss. The Knights outshot the Attack 42-25 while going 2 for 7 on the power play; Owen Sound finished 0 for 4.
