A case of measles in our area.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit says an un-vaccinated resident tested positive and now tracing is underway for anyone who may have come in contact with the person on March 12th.
The person was at the Huronia Urgent Care Clinic on Huronia Road in Barrie. Then the Georgian Radiology clinic and Eagle Ridge Pharmacy in the same building. This was between 11 am and two pm. The health unit advises anyone who believes they may have been exposed to monitor for symptoms, and if you are symptomatic, isolate immediately.
