Local organizations can apply for funding from Huron County under its 2025 Supporting Local Economic Development (SLED) program.
The program is delivered by the County of Huron’s Economic Development Department and funds projects up to a maximum of $10 thousand, for:
- Private local businesses, retail, and services
- Municipal buildings
- Non-profit organizations, community centers, and recreational facilities
- Local hospitality, tourism, restaurants, and other food establishments (excluding franchises)
- Arts and cultural venues
- E-commerce platforms catering to Huron County residents
Former recipients include the Bayfield Lion’s Club, Eat Local Huron, Exeter & District Heritage Fund, and the Zurich Bean Festival.
The deadline to submit is April 17th, 2025, at 4:30 p.m..
