Two late model, white Dodge Pickups have been stolen from southwest Barrie homes in as many days.
Barrie Police say the thieves are quick and well equipped.
In a surveillance video The thieves are seen approaching the front door in the middle of the night with equipment that connects with the key fob inside the house. They start the truck and drive it away.
Barrie Police is reminding pickup truck owners to utilize a Faraday pouch for keys, to use an ignition defeat or tracking system, or use a steering wheel lock or accelerator lock… and advise to never leave your keys near the front door.
Residents of Barrie who would like a free Faraday pouch can visit police HQ and show ID to receive one.
