Twenty-seven people have applied to fill the vacant seat on Collingwood council.
The clerk’s office will now make sure each is qualified – and then on March 20th they’ll be given a chance to make their pitch at town hall.
Council will then vote and appoint the successful candidate.
The vacancy was created when Brandon Houston resigned from council earlier this year.
