While Spring has not official hit Huron County, the area will be getting rid of the traces of Winter.
The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority says the remaining snowpack in the region’s watershed is expected to melt this week.
Environment Canada’s forecast for Huron County is calling for temperatures in the low-to-mid single digits, with overnight temperatures above the freezing mark.
“Stream flow forecasts show sustained near bank-full flows in the rivers and the potential for minor flooding in the traditional low-lying areas,” a news release from the ABCA says.
“No major flooding is expected.”
