Breaking Down Barriers is celebrating 40 years in Collingwood this year – an Independent Living Resource Centre for people with disabilities – that actually opened its doors on this day (February 25th) in 1985. Breaking down Barriers was the first to establish an information and referral service for individuals with diverse disabilities in the Georgian Triangle area.
