Two people were sent to hospital following a collision between a snowmobile and a motor vehicle.
The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 12 and Atherley Road in Orillia.
At around noon on Saturday, OPP, Orillia Fire, and Simcoe County Paramedics were called to the collision and found that both the snowmobile and the vehicle had sustained substantial damage.
Two people were taken to Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital with serious, life-altering injuries.
The Central Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) unit is assisting with the ongoing investigation. Anyone with dashcam footage is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
