Ontario Provincial Police is asking for assistance locating a missing man.
OPP say on Jan. 20, Saugeen Shores Police received a missing person report for 32-year-old Brendan Martin after he was last seen in the early hours of Jan. 18 in Southampton.
Martin is described as an Indigenous man, about 6’0″ tall and 195 pounds with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and navy winter coat and Timberland-style boots.
Police say he is known to frequent the Owen Sound and Barrie areas.
Police have conducted extensive searches and are concerned for Martin’s well-being.
Residents in Southampton are asked to check their properties and outbuildings for an sign of Martin.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on Martin’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
