Next Tuesday (February 4th) the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit will be enforcing suspension orders for students in grades 4,5 and 6 for non-compliance with required and complete immunization records.
Catch up clinics have been offered throughout Simcoe and Muskoka, but the health unit says there are still over 2700 outstanding records. Currently 86% of students in grades 4-6 have up-to-date records on file.
Vaccines are available by appointment at health units in Barrie, Midland, Orillia, Cookstown, Collingwood, Huntsville and Gravenhurst. Walk-in clinics will take place from Feb 3-Feb 5th.
